Established in 2004 by industry pioneers Nigel Fox, Geoffrey France, and Michael Eayrs, our company has grown into one of the largest distributors of Engen-branded lubricants in South Africa. In 2015, Valiant Ah Hing joined as a shareholder, and in 2024, following Nigel Fox’s retirement, Franco Nel and Johan du Plessis became shareholders, further strengthening our leadership team and commitment to excellence.

Our Journey
As one of the first of its kind in the Engen distribution network, Engen Oil Centre Port Elizabeth was built on a vision to empower local entrepreneurs with a focus on service excellence. Today, we are proud to still hold this ethos, with Johan Du Plessis and Franco Nel joining the ownership team in 2024.
